As a modern mutual company, we’re built on the idea of people helping people. That’s why we announced at the beginning of 2017 that to celebrate Canada 150, we were partnering with our brokers to give $1 million to better our communities in 150 ways.
Our year-long 150 Ways campaign was a great success. With the help of our broker partners, we granted more than $1.3 million to charities across the country and impacted the lives of tens of thousands of Canadians including young people like Troy Elleston. A talented spoken word artist and biotechnology student, Troy created a powerful piece inspired by our 150 Ways campaign and the importance of community called “150 Ways and Counting”.
