Gore Mutual has been named one of Canada’s Employee Recommended Workplaces for 2019.

Co-presented by The Globe and Mail and human resources consulting and technology company Morneau Shepell, the Employee Recommended Workplace Award recognizes excellence in achieving a healthy, engaged and productive workforce where employees can thrive. Now in its third year, this award is the only of its kind that is based 100% on feedback and data provided by employees.

For 2019, 75 organizations across the country have received Employee Recommended Workplace designations for putting their employees’ health, wellness and workplace experience at the forefront of their operations.

“We’re honoured to be named a 2019 Employee Recommended Workplace,” says Catherine Leclair, Vice President of Human Resources at Gore Mutual. “What makes this achievement so special is that it comes directly from employee feedback about our organization. Our employees have always come first, and we work hard to create an environment where they feel inspired to bring their energy, passion and commitment to work every day. This award shows that we’re on the right track. In 2019, we’re continuing to focus on our people with new wellness initiatives, additional resources and more to help make life at Gore Mutual even better.”

“As more workplaces focus on employee health and well-being, it’s reassuring to see a wide range of employers represented in the 2019 Employee Recommended Workplaces, including organizations of all sizes, from all corners of Canada and from both the private and public sectors,” said Stephen Liptrap, President and CEO at Morneau Shepell.

With our recognition as a 2019 Employee Recommended Workplace, we continue to cement our reputation as a national top employer. In 2018, we received a Best Workplaces Canada award, was designated a Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance and named a Waterloo Area Top Employer for the tenth year in a row.
