Gore Mutual continues to gain recognition as a leading national and regional employer. This year marks our 180th year in business, and during the past 12 months we’ve received a 2019 Employee Recommended Workplace Award, been certified as a Great Place to Work and were listed as a Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance.
We’re happy to share that in December, Gore Mutual was once again named one of the Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2020. This is the 11th straight year that we’ve been awarded this designation.
Now in its 13th year, Waterloo Area’s Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes employers in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph area that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Companies are evaluated on a number of different categories including their physical workplace, work and social atmosphere, vacation and time off, employee communications, training and skills development, community involvement and more.
