Building a strong and inclusive company culture that supports all employees regardless of whether they are in an office or working remotely has never been more important. This remains a key area of focus for our company and the past few years have seen Gore Mutual gaining increased recognition as a top employer.

We’re proud to share that in late June, Gore Mutual was named one of 2020’s Best Workplaces in Ontario.

We received this honour after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work. Companies from across the province were selected for the 2020 Best Workplaces in Ontario list based on direct feedback from employees at the hundreds of organizations that Great Place to Work surveyed.

“Everything that we accomplish is because of the hard work our people put forth every single day,” says Catherine Leclair, Chief Human Resources Officer at Gore Mutual. “They’re what makes Gore Mutual a fantastic place to work.

“The last few months have created unprecedented situations for all companies, but everyone across our business has been 100% committed to ensuring a seamless level of support for our broker partners and customers. It’s been really inspiring to see. As an organization, we’re always looking for ways to better support our employees. We’ve adopted more flexible work schedules, created additional wellness days and developed other initiatives to support everyone’s well-being, keep people connected and continue to make Gore Mutual a work environment that people are excited and proud to be part of.”

Earlier this year, Great Place to Work selected Gore Mutual as a 2020 Best Workplace in Canada and last year our company was named a Best Workplace Managed by Women and a Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance.

We’re always looking for more talented people to bring fresh ideas to our organization and help us change insurance for good. Interested in learning more about career opportunities at Gore Mutual? Visit here.
